Heart Murmur in children is mild which is referred to as innocent murmur, in some cases it is a sign of cardiac diseases(which is referred to as pathologic murmur). In a new study researchers found that heart murmur will disappear which eliminates pathologic heart murmur.
Researchers noted that 194 following children who are lying horizontally with the face and in the standing position are referred to pediatric cardiologists for heart murmur. After the survey, an electrocardiogram evaluates the presence or absence of cardiac anomalies.
In a survey Eighty five percent of children who did not have heart diseases are referred to cardiologists for heart murmur. 15 percent of children had an abnormal echocardiogram. Of 100 children 15 percent of children had heart murmur in supine position not in the standing position.
According to a new study, In a period of highly technical medicine, physical examination remains the first step in diagnosis. Researchers concluded that vanishing of heart murmur in children on standing position is a valuable clinical test for eliminating a pathologic heart murmur.
